Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of nookstor — a private, referral-based marketplace connecting micro home businesses (“vendors”) with their customers. By using nookstor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1Accounts

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your phone secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use nookstor.

2What nookstor is

nookstor is a platform that lets vendors take orders from their own customers. nookstor is not a party to the transaction between a vendor and a customer, does not take title to any goods, and does not hold customer payments. Vendors are independent businesses responsible for their own products and fulfilment.

3Vendor terms

By setting up a shop on nookstor, you agree that:

• You are responsible for the quality, safety, and lawful sale of your products, for fulfilling accepted orders, and for any taxes, licences, and regulatory compliance applicable to your business.
• You will keep customer interactions on nookstor and will not misuse customer contact details shared for fulfilment.
• You must accept the in-app Vendor Agreement before going live, and re-accept it if its terms are updated.

4Fees & billing

• A one-time onboarding fee applies when a vendor first publishes their shop.
• nookstor charges a platform fee of 1% per order (minimum ₹3 per order), plus applicable GST, billed monthly. You owe nothing in months with no orders.
• Fees are calculated on the order amounts created through nookstor, not on confirmed payment receipts. Vendors are never blocked from accepting orders based on billing status.

5Payments

All customer payments are made by UPI, directly to the vendor, and are collected upfront before an order is prepared. nookstor does not hold or process customer payments. nookstor's platform fee to vendors may be collected through a third-party payment provider.

6Customer terms

Customers join a vendor's private circle by invite, referral, or QR code. Orders are an agreement between you and the vendor. Any nookstor credits are subject to their own terms and expiry, have no cash value, and are not transferable.

7Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse nookstor, including by:

• Selling unlawful, unsafe, or prohibited items.
• Harassing, defrauding, or impersonating others.
• Attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Circumventing the platform to move interactions off nookstor in a way that harms other users.

8Intellectual property

nookstor and its branding are owned by us. Vendor and customer content remains the property of its owner; by posting content you grant nookstor a limited licence to use it to operate the service.

9Disclaimers

nookstor is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any vendor's products, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nookstor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for disputes arising between vendors and customers over goods, payments, or fulfilment.

11Termination

You may stop using nookstor at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
